I have gone back and forth with this company requesting a refund on their hidden subscription. Once I found out there was a subscription I immediately canceled within the time frame and they still charged me the $19.99. emailing back and forth with this company. They will not answer my question. They are ignoring me. They did however cancel my account like I requested since it wasn't done on their end. However, they will not even answer my question regarding the refund. The lack of business ethics is astounding.

Last month (about April 26th) I attempted to sign up for this site so I may read the books they were offering online. Every time I would complete the sign up page and press the continue button I would get kicked back to the same page to start all over again. I thought it might be a glitch and tried multiple times to login using the email and password I put on the sign up page , but it kept saying th email address wasn't on file. I didn't know what else to do so I emailed the company to let them know what had happened and asked that they please cancel any subscription they might have on file for me since I could not access it and use the services offered. All I received in response was an automated email saying they received my message and to please allow time for them to respond. I never heard anything again from them. Today, May 26th, I was charged $19.99 for the monthly subscription. The website say in the print at going down the page that you may call and cancel your subscription anytime, but provides no phone number to call and they aren't answering my emails. If you ask me this is a scam and I'd like to be refunded and want to make sure I am never charged again. How can a company charge for services if you can't even create a login username and password??????

I have received response from this company regarding my complaint and they keep giving me the same response stating that they see an account was created and to login to the account and follow the instructions on how to cancel the membership. I have responded back to them a number of times explaining that there is not any login credentials due to the fact that I was not able to create them in the first place therefore, I've never had access to the account to be able to cancel said membership. I don't know how many times I have to explain to them that I cannot access the account, or ask them for help with accessing the account. They haven't given me any kind of actual assistance with this matter. It's extremely frustrating to know I am being charged every month for something I have no access to! Below is the last correspondence I had with the company.

I have gone to the link that you sent and there is no option to change my password or username. I'm going to ask for the final time that you PLEASE cancel the subscription for my account under the email ************************ I have sent all the information that I've been asked for, tried everything you keep telling me I have to do to either cancel my subscription or change my login and it all leads me to the same page that provides no way to do either. On your main page to start a subscription it clearly states that to cancel customers can call your customer service **** , yet there is no number provided or listed anywhere online at all for that matter. As I stated in a previous email, I have contacted the Better Business Bureau about this matter and will continue to work with them if you will not work with me to solve this matter and end my subscription asap and issue a refund.

Looks like ****** signed up on April 26 using misspelled email, ************************ which is why they did not get a confirmation email. That account has been closed. I see ****** signed up again on 5/27/2024 using email, ************************ This time ****** was able to download 8 books and foreign language courses and then canceled during the trial on 6/17/2024. This account is also now closed and customer has not been charged since they were still in their 30-day trial. Both accounts are now closed and there will be no further charges.

I recently noticed a $19.99 charge on my credit card for All You Can Books. I remember seeing it before, and assumed it was a book purchase. However, it has not recurred, even after having a past card closed because of fraud and a new card opened. I tried to contact them via email. One of the requirements for them to look at my account was the last four digits of my credit card, and the first six digits of the same card. This raised a huge red flag as well. I have no idea where they got both my old number, as well as the new number that had been changed because of fraud. I am positive that I have not purchased an audio book subscription ever, and certainly not since my number has been changed. VERY frustrated, but I think my bank will help me get my money back from multiple charges. I have to do some digging to see how much it actually is, and I am a little afraid to do that. I am sure they do it because $19.99 is a fairly simple charge and something that would not alert people who are regular readers and may order either books online or audio book subscriptions.

I signed up with this company for a free trial because ****** showed they had the book I was looking for. Once signed up, they did not have the book. I tried to cancel but I had a hard time finding the way to cancel it so I gave up. I forgot about the subscription and was charged for 3 months. I noticed the most current transaction through paypal on April 10. The transaction was April 8. Since it was only 2 days, after I cancelled the subscription through paypal, I asked the vendor to kindly give me a refund. I got an email stating that my subscription was cancelled successfully, they do not do refunds and as an offer to say thanks they would allow me access to the database until the next billing cycle. This is not an offer! Of course they should, I already paid for it. I stated this in my reply and again asked for a refund instead. I got the same email, so I believe they just aren't reading them. This began with ****** showing me they had my book, which is false advertising in my opinion. They make it difficult to cancel your subscription and then when you ask for a refund, you get told no refunds under any circumstance. The date was April 8, 2024 and the amount was *****. To be clear, I was not asking for the other months back, just the current one. In addition, I have NEVER downloaded any title in their library the entire 3 months. I feel like I got nothing for my money.

My mother subscribed to this company in hopes of finding books for college courses. They dont have a phone number, and there doesnt seem to be a feature to unsubscribe on their website. Thus, she emailed them on January 8th to unsubscribe. She received no response. Today, April 7th, she was charged for their subscription.

I purchase a free trial from "All You Can Books". After I had signed up for the trial, it will not let me access their website anymore. I believe they are a fraudulent website trying to scam customers. Now I have no way to cancel my subscription because they will not let me access the site.

This is NOT a customer. We do not have a customer account under this name or email. Customer probably did not complete their signup or they would have received a confirmation email with login instructions.
